I got to check out these connected lights at work and they are pretty dope. The iPhone app that controls them is built around formulas. In addition to the usual remote on/off and scheduling features, users can save configurations of tonality and brightness. Best of all is the more recent integration with ifttt. It's super easy to trigger lighting changes based on outside factors like weather, incoming email or SMS, and even sports scores. While it pains me to think about the countless hours spent building-out similar, far-less-robust use-cases manually (recall my sweet real-time goal project? No? anyway...), I can wait to try out a set at home. Also, real nice orientation-based interface change!
